Unless you are raising a child with special needs, you don’t know what it is like to take everything you thought you knew about parenting and throw it out the window. I read this article and it resignated with me so much. Especially since I am always getting parenting advice from family members that have no idea what me and my household deal with on a day to day basis. Sometimes it makes me feel angry to hear them provide “advice” as if normal parenting skills can be applied to my situation.

Anyway, here’s the link for the article. Hopefully it can shed some light on the subject.

  1. That’s a good article. One line stood out and it was the only line that could relate to as all parents probably do. “Am I doing all that I can?”

My prayer is that you never are plagued with asking yourself this. I know that you are doing all that you can do …. and probably some stuff that others should be doing.

My prayer for you (and you are in my prayers every night) is that after you done all you can do, don’t forget to stand and wait on the Lord.

Proverbs 31 says “Who can find a virtuous woman” as I read that 2nd half of Solomon’s last section in this book, I think of a few women in my life: My Mother, My wife, and you … It will be greater later ….. but take in the NOW ….. For NOW … and Cherish the struggle. it will strengthen your Praise Report … Love you, kisses and hugs to your family … Keep the Faith!
